WHERE TO SLEEP IN CLARKSDALE
If you are in Clarksdale, you can't miss staying at the legendary Shack Up Inn. If you want to fully immerse yourself in the world of blues and the most authentic Mississippi, you must book at this Inn. It is an old cotton plantation where the shacks, that is, the tin huts of the cotton pickers, once stood. These huts have obviously been restored and enriched with comforts, but they retain the typical atmosphere of the cotton fields, which are still present around the shacks today. In fact, you can admire the cotton simply by walking around your accommodations. Even the surrounding gardens recall the atmosphere of the time with sculptures made of glass bottles or the railroad crossing in the middle of the tourist village.
