Madrid does not offer many accommodation options. I recommend staying at the B&B next to the Mine Shaft Tavern. You won't find it advertised on their website. You have to look for it and book it through Airbnb (Madrid Sunrise and Inn at MST Green). This B&B is adjacent to the famous restaurant and live music venue Mine Shaft Tavern: the typical biker bar. The property is well-kept and clean. I should warn you that the running water has a strong smell and is not exactly clear due to the presence of local mines. They say it is drinkable... I assure you it will really only be a minor inconvenience: visiting Madrid will make up for it.
