As already mentioned, in Cody it is a must, before the Rodeo, to take part in the convivial dinner at the Cody Cattle Company.
This is an institution in Cody: a restaurant with a bit of a cafeteria-style service, with the classic line and tray in hand, offering excellent local meat specialties and where all the townspeople gather before attending the Rodeo. Dinner is enlivened by a talented country music band that alternates music with moments of entertaining cabaret, and for those who want, it's also possible to dance a bit of two step. I recommend opting for the Trifecta package which includes: dinner, country music show, and rodeo.
Another excellent restaurant, in the city center, is The Local. A women-run restaurant, very nice in its decor and with a pleasant atmosphere, it offers a slightly different cuisine with interesting dishes made using only local products, hence the name The Local. The evening will pass pleasantly, thanks also to the kindness of the staff.
