Treampeleau does not offer a wide variety of restaurants. If you stay at Luca's b&b, you can walk in 2 minutes to the Historic Treampeleau Hotel, Restaurant & Saloon. The atmosphere is nice and the food is good. Around here, the specialty, if you feel like trying it, is catfish. In honor of this fish, every year in mid-July, the Catfish Days are celebrated: a 3-day festival with a fishing tournament and themed activities all centered around the famous local fish.
