Since it was Ferragosto evening, we aimed for the best restaurant in Vermilion: the Red Steakhouse.
Since Vermillion is a rather small and not very touristy town, we didn't have high expectations for dinner, but we were pleasantly surprised by this steakhouse. Quite elegant with drapes, carpeting, and refined seating, it doesn't come across as an overly pretentious place. The food is good and offers a decent variety. The service is professional and the atmosphere is relaxed yet trendy.
