Since Hiroshima is quite a large city, I suggest staying in a hotel that is fairly central and convenient for getting around.
The best possible choice is the Hotel Granvia which is located next to the station. It is a beautiful 4-star hotel that will allow you
to easily reach Miyajima and the airport (thanks to the limousine bus service that terminates in front of the hotel) and will offer you countless options for breakfast, dinner, and shopping.
