As I mentioned before, being on an island, I wanted a place that would let me fully experience the tropical atmosphere.
For this reason, I started searching on Airbnb and found a hut immersed in the forest: Beachsidehouse Alohana.
I'm not too much of a "wild" type, I still need my comforts and I love refined details. This accommodation had all these features...
So I booked, hoping I hadn't made a terrible mistake... reading the reviews left by previous guests, I understood I was on the right track...
Upon our arrival, we were amazed.
The hut, if you can call it that, is entirely built of wood. It has large windows that allow you to see the garden in front and the forest in the back. It has air conditioning and a large bathroom. Refined details are visible everywhere.
The bed has a mosquito net that will let you sleep peacefully while cute little geckos wander on the ceiling beams.
At night, you will truly feel like you are in the tropical forest: you will hear all the noises and sounds of the forest...
Masato, the host, with the utmost discretion, will always be available for any need and will give you valuable advice about the island.
In the morning, he will serve you, with great courtesy on your patio overlooking the tropical garden, an excellent all home made breakfast. He will also provide you with all the details about the day's weather and the possibility of seeing the Milky Way directly from your accommodation.
My words still cannot convey the beauty and uniqueness of the place....
