At Mount Koya it is possible to stay overnight at Buddhist temples. I thoroughly considered this option but given the really high costs (in my opinion excessive), I opted for a B&B. I recommend staying at Guest House Tommy: here you will find a pleasant couple who will welcome you with great friendliness. The accommodation is comfortable and the breakfast very tasty. For those craving Italian coffee, at Tommy they will satisfy you with an excellent Nespresso coffee. The guest house is just a short walk from the main tourist attractions of Mount Koya and has free parking a short distance away.
