There are not many restaurants on the island and they all close quite early.
For this reason, it is a good idea to plan ahead to avoid the risk of ending up without dinner.
My absolute favorite is Nosoko Malolo: a restaurant with a naïve atmosphere and delicious cuisine. Here the cuisine is based on the Okinawa style: the flavors are strong and the dishes very tasty.
I'd like to highlight among the specialties: purple sweet potato croquettes accompanied by a spicy soy sauce, fried noodles with ham, gyoza in spicy broth: absolutely amazing!
If you want to try the island's typical meat, I recommend having dinner at Lotus Grill.
In this restaurant, the meat is cooked using teppanyaki: a grill placed in the center of the table on which you cook the meat and vegetables that will be served to you at the table.
