On the island, you can't miss tasting the famous oysters. The best ones can be enjoyed at Yakigaki no Hayashi.
Don't be alarmed if you see a long line in front of the restaurant entrance; it moves very quickly. While you're waiting, you can watch the oysters being grilled.
I recommend trying the oysters in all three ways: raw with lemon or soy sauce, breaded and fried, and grilled.
