WHERE TO SLEEP IN AMARILLO
If you are in Amarillo, you can't miss staying at the legendary Big Texan Motel! It is the motel attached to the famous Texan restaurant specializing in huge steaks. The motel is entirely themed: bedspreads with the Texas star, bathrooms with saloon-style sliding doors, and as an accessory, a fly swatter since flies are plentiful here. The motel also has a small outdoor pool in the shape of... obviously... the state of Texas. In the parking lot, you'll find the famous Cadillacs complete with horns on the hood, Boss Hogg style (like in the TV series The Dukes of Hazzard).
