At Monument Valley, accomodation are few. Inside the park there is only one hotel, The View Hotel managed by the Navajo. This hotel is huge and enjoys an unparalleled panorama being directly overlooking the Monument. Next to it, some cabins have been recently built. They are very small wooden chalets with a bathroom with a shower, a small kitchen, and a small veranda. I highly recommend you book this solution (it is a must if you want to stay inside the park) so you will have your private accommodation. A little more secluded than the mega hotel will let you enjoy a wonderful view directly from your bed or from your veranda from which you can take wonderful pictures at sunrise and sunset. As you will read further, the kitchen will also be useful ... Be aware that the weather is changing and it often happens to have heavy thunderstorms unleashed in Monument Valley in the night. Due to its conformation and the immense spaces, many bolts of lightning fall and many claps of thunder of strong intensity can be heard. The same applies to the impetuous winds that during our stay seemed to blow our cabin away.
